  • Things are getting back to normal around here.

First of all, I want to thank you all so much for your messages of sympathy.  They have meant so much to me.

I have always said my online friends are the best—-and so very caring!  Love you!!

My sis’s granddaughter and her husband will be on 60 Minutes this Sunday.  Morley Safer will be interviewing them about their decision to do a “strategic foreclosure”.

The interview was done back in February, and is finally being shown on May 9th.

I am so excited to see it.  Hope you all are able to see it, too.

Here are 3 photos my great-niece had up on her Facebook page.  I am putting them here with her permission.

If I can, I will put a link up to the preview that is up on CBS’s website.

  • Hope you aren’t snowed in today. Guess Duluth is getting snow.

  • I had not seen your April blog so I was not one of those who sent you comments on your dad and sis. I am so sorry, Nancy! I was interested about your not crying. I have that lack as well. I am the one who cried watching TV shows. I think it is because we have lost so many loved ones. My dear Mary died of Alzhheimer’s in February and I cried very little. Like your dad she knew few yet remembered me. I said it was because we had been friends for 74 years. Both your dad and your sis probably welcomed death for they were suffering. I have instructed any of my family who are still interested that if I have a terminal disease that I do not want any chemo or other interventions. I want pain management. I also will buy a carton of cigarettes. It won’t make any difference and I loved smoking!! Perhaps you have read that I talk to Mary’s husband, Paul,. daily. He looks forward to my 8 o’clock call and I go there on Sunday. He was rushed to the hospital on Feb.6th and Mary died Feb. 8th.  Paul’s minister took him to see Mary’s grave Monday. He is a very brave man and a very positive person. When I did rehab at the nursing home where Mary was, Paul would bring her to my room and later I was able to go to her room. So I will be watching Morley and your grandniece Sunday. Thanks for the invite!!!

  • I am going to be very sure to TIVO that one.  You’re famous!!  You can record it , put it on a DVD and have it forever!  Nice to see something on TV that isn’t bad news..murder and mayhem.

  • You must be really excited about this. I hope the show goes well, have they been effected very much by this situation ?

  • May 9 ? It was yesterday . I think you took pleasure for the least to watch this interview .

    Love

    Michel
