Edit: I did NOT go outside to take the picture. Took it through the bathroom window. You guys should know me better than to think I was going to stand outside in the near zero temp to take a pic!! lol
I was watching it out my patio door, but it is way too cold to actually go outside.

Beautiful. It was supposed to be a total eclipse but....I shouldn't admit this but...I fell asleep. I needed the sleep. I'm sorry I missed it. John stayed up and watched it but he's not up yet(6:10 am ) here.
I know Val and Dave were going to stay up and watch it.

Hey, I'm so glad you posted this photo! Arne went outside and he saw it, but I stayed in and didn't even look out the window! One good thing about all our cold this year...hopefully it will kill some of the bugs! Especially those new beetles, the iridescent green ones that I've never seen until the last few years!
Dale called and said it was in full eclipse. I'd thought it was going to be later in the night. I stepped out just far enough, so I could see it from under the eve of the house, and right back in. COLD OUT THERE!!!
It wasn't cold here and I sat outside awhile but with all the clouds and my poor eyesight I didn't see it.
Last night was the first cloudy night for weeks- wouldn't you just know it ! The moon has been so bright I could go into the kitchen without putting the light on but not so last night. Marie
