I am writing this at the motel’s computer in the lobby. I have a few minutes before we head over to Jeff’s for the day. I cannot seem to get my computer to work with the hotel’s wireless. I must be doing something wrong!
We had a great time by Ken’s brother. Just as we were finishing lunch there, their oldest son arrived with his semi. He was just coming off the road and had to leave again the following morning. Then, just before we left, a second son arrived from out of town. So we got to see two of their four kids. Yes, I took pictures. Everyone is tired of my picture-taking already! Will post them when we get home.
From there we went straight down to our motel near LaCrosse. Had talked to Jeff on the phone, and they would not be getting back from picking up Jacob until about 1 a.m.
We had a nice relaxing evening at the motel, and Ken went swimming and in the jacuzzi while I just vegged out.
Yesterday morning we headed over to Jeff’s. Will put pictures up when we get home. They are on a hill way out in the country. So quiet and beautiful. Judy is not as big as i thought she would be. Just saw the two youngest grands and Jacob yesterday. ”Little” Kenny has grown tremendously since December, and his voice is changing already.
Today, Hannah and her new boyfriend are coming over to Jeff’s, as well as Mindy and her boyfriend.
Tonight we go to a bbq at one of Jeff and Judy’s friends. All of the grands, except Hannah, will be there. Because of working schedules, we just cannot get them all together for a family picture.
Jeff took pictures of Hannah and Mindy for professional purposes—CD cover, posters, etc. Some of them really turned out great.
Ken and Jeff went to a guy’s place yesterday who had lived in Nashville, and was selling a lot of his sound equipment. Jeff picked up just about everything the girls will need except for microphones and cords for $200. Great deal!!
Well, I guess Ken is getting anxious to get going, and I still have to go get my shoes on—walked to the lobby for breakfast in my slippers without realizing it!

Enjoy that BBQ with the gang.
It was neat that Ken and Jeff were able to pick up those bargains for the girls.
