Remember my niece's husband that I asked all of you to pray for? He was having serious heart surgery?
Well, he is home for almost a week already. The surgeon says he was a miracle! When they opened B. up, the aneurism he had on his heart was the size of a man's fist, and ready to burst. They replaced his aorta and his valves, too. Since he was only 36, and very healthy going into the surgery, it really helped----along with all the prayers said on his behalf!
Thank you all very much!
====================
Nothing going on here. I am in full hibernation mode, except for going to the eye Dr. on Friday. Was supposed to have my eyes checked last summer already, but kept putting it off. Went into the office to make the appt., and picked out my new frames already. Man, are frames getting expensive!! Especially when I like frames that are a little different.
====================
I think that I am going to take a break from Xanga for a while. Nothing going on, and don't feel much like blogging, either. Whenever the sun decides to come out for more than a couple hours at a time, or it stops snowing every other day, I might feel differently.
Will read you all in my e-mail subscriptions, but won't comment much. Still love you all very much!!
HUGS!!

Happy hibernation my dear! :sleepy:
So glad to hear about your niece's hubby. He's only a year older than me.
Nope! Not acceptable! If I can post about my boring boring life why should you get a break from telling us about yours? lol
I think it's just the winter blahhhhs--I have trouble thinking of things to write about. But if you get new glasses you can come back and show us !!!-Take care and maybe the sun will come out and shine on you,,,,,,,almost time to get the gnomes out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
How wonderful he is well. Have a nice break. Judi
Reminds me of the "I wanna be a bear" story!
You will be missed while you take that break!
Now THAT'S no excuse. You know what's gonna happen???? Spring will come and there will be flowers to tend, outside work to do, nice days to run around, and right now, you have all the time you WON'T have then!! And besides, who's gonna keep us up on the travelers. And how are we gonna know you're O.K. ???? NO FAIR!!!!
So glad your nephew's operation was a success and that he's getting along well. Sounds as if he was a time bomb, waiting to go off!!!
Glad to hear your niece's husband is doing well. *hugs*

:sunny:Enjoy your break.
So glad for niece's husband.
While you are on your break go join Robbie's and play in PSP. http://groups.msn.com/robbiesmembers that's where I learned so much.
Great news about your niece's husband, may his recovery go well. I shall miss hearing about your " intrepid " travellers so don't be gone for too long. After weeks without any inspiration for posts I'm all fired up and full of ideas-strange isn't it ?
Marie
Now, see, MY "full hibernation mode" would INCLUDE xanga! : D
And if you read my blog, you would realize that you don't even need anything to blog about. : )
Enjoy your time away...(sniffles):wave:
So glad to hear about your niece's husband.
I'm in hibernation mode and I caught up on a couple of wee' backlog of Xanga digests. Of course, just because I'm in hibernation doesn't mean that the people around me let me curl up and sleep all day. I think I could, though once I'm up I don't want to go to bed until the wee hours of the morning. What kind of hibernation is that? Just do what is right for you.
