EDIT: My niece's daughter was NOT getting Packer autographs, she was getting Giants autographs! Naughty grandniece! But she does have a reason. She lived in NJ, not far from the Giants stadium when she was younger, so she naturally has a fondness for them, too. Guess she is forgiven! lol

GO
PACKERS!!!!!
Temperatures are supposed to be down around zero at game time Sunday evening. Can we say "frostbite"????? Wind chills will be much lower.
I will be VERY happy to sit home in my warm, cozy living room to watch the game. While writing this, I just saw a niece's daughter on the local news. She was interviewed by the station while getting Packer autographs today.
The Packers coach said that he kept all the practice footballs in the freezer this week, so the players could get used to handling cold balls (no nasty jokes, now!!!! lol). This is not a joke--it is true. Said that in the past he has put footballs in cold water for practice if he knows cold rain is expected.
Green Bay's airport is not humongous, and they are running out of tarmac to park all the private planes flying in for the game. Lots of executives and entertainment people in the area for the game.
GO PACK!!!!!

YES!!!!!!! GO PACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow - they really are preparing for all eventualities. I still don't understand football and we have been in the US almost 10 years!!
If Wil allows it I will root for your team...you know what a football fan I am...NOT
It is cold here too. Not quite 0 except with the wind chill but very close and supposed to get down there tonight.
Dilove came down for overnight. Plans to go home tomorrow night since they are calling for freezing rain/snow Monday. She just needed to get away from the city and the job issues. Sprint is once again, as every year this time, doing layoffs etc. She and Wil are having a heart to heart so I'm in here headed for the TV and Lawrence Welk.
Hope those Packers win! Englishjuls in Widnes is also a Packer fan. She will be watching European time. She has stayed up all night to watch their games
:goodjob:
I wonder if he puts the footballs in the microwave to get ready for hot weather....
Go Packers. I think my husband is rooting for Green Bay. Like Sunny, pro football would die if they depended on me. I just never could get into that stuff.
I'm just happy when John is happy.
I didn't know your a fan
Yes, temperatures are really going down
I know a couple of keen NFL fans- guess who ? Marie

OMG.Like your sister, I was hypnotized to stop smoking the first time and it lasted twelve years up to the time Bern, in England, died shortly after my arrival and that is how I dealt with my grief. I started smoking again in January and went back for Bern's daughter's wedding in June. I was so embarrassed to be smoking then. My dear friends, Peter and Dot, allowed me to use their sunroom to smoke in! I would spray immediately before I left that room. I had a terrible time quitting the second time. I finally gave myself a last reprieve. I had to stop smoking on Nov.1rst for I was going back to see the annual Christmas windows at Harrows and visit Dot and Peter. I couldn't imagine smoking in their house again. It worked. I still dream of smoking. It is the most addictive drug around!
