So proud of those brave young people. I just pray we don't destroy the very freedoms for which they sacrificed.

We met one while I was in rehab. He brought my new walker. A handsome guy with a bright optimistic personality...definitely made an impression on us. During our conversation, we found out that he won a purple star while on his tour in Iraq. What fine young people they are!!!

What a nice tribute!! I hurt for the young people who are serving overseas. It is a different time and a different conflict from WWII when our sacrifices meant something. I am very upset to hear of the suicides among the returning vets. They must be haunted by their experiences. How sad!!

I just reread your last blog and what struck me was how giving you and Ken are. I don't know whether I would have prevailed during that weekend. Nancy, I love the picture of you and Ken!! You are lovely!! In fact, your whole family is!!

PS I don't mean Ken is not lovely...well, handsome! Maybe cute?????
