Nuthin new!
Just had to change my “theme”. All that frost was just too depressing!!! And I am depressed enough. The valentine header that Bonnie (BLB) made for me a few years ago always makes me smile!
Didn’t leave the house this past week.
This week I get to go out for a haircut on Wed., and to church on Friday.
WHOOPPEE! lolBack to my cave.

“Back to your cave!” You need to get out more. Cheers
sometimes caves are good…we need the rest
Hibernating is good for us. The weather here has improved-for the time being ! Stay warm in your cave. Marie
got room for one more??? This cave is getting a little lonely!! hahahaha! (((HUGS)))
I don’t think you guys are going to see ground until spring! We are scheduled for winter our style this afternoon into tomorrow. Gro. shopped etc. this a.m. just incase can’t get there Wed.
go outside….. no more cave for you, i know this is a tough time of year re the ‘sad’ but out you go….
as for me ‘my time’ has hit a glitch. the washing machine didn’t know that today was my day it has decided to spring a leak. damn. so turned the water off, called the old Ox and he came home just to get out of firing someone at the office….. and of course to help me determine where the water was coming from….
ok i’m back to painting- are you going for a quick walk, milk- whatever. Saw you dropped by leave a note next time.
stay warm in your cave
only a few more weeks left now at least we are getting nearer spring than Christmas
Hey, are you “wii-ing” in there? : ) You should get Animal Crossing and come visit my town! (It’s snowing there, too, but I think I read somewhere that Spring comes the first of February!)
We are having the WORST weather in a lOOoooOOOng time. More storms the next couple of days, when I am supposed to be working – we’ll see!
I know it’s hard to get out but really, that would be best for you. But, yeah, totally understand not wanting to go in this cold, cold, cold weather. But, wow! January is almost over!
I love the new layout !! It is so cheery,I am so excited for spring to get here ,green grass again!!
Dear Nancy,
It’s always nice to hear from you. It’s been weirder here in SoCal than in previous years. (Although I don’t know what “normal” is anymore with regards to weather. We had a hot spell a few weeks ago, right after a cold snap, and now the mercury is around 62 during the day, but with beautiful sunny days. (sun, but no warmth thereof)
Hope Spring arrives soon for you so you can get out of hibernation.
RYC: The exterior of the homes have to “match”. The trim is green an the house is white, so any “improvements” have to have a green/white motif. I understand that I can paint the paneling if I want to but I’ll leave everything alone for a while. Right after I move, I have to schedule my surgery, and my recuperation will be around three months, so I won’t be doing much in the way of upgrades until after I am fully functional.
The space rent goes up about 3 percent a year. I just found the original rental agreement for my current place, which rents for $1850.00 a month. Back in 1995, when I signed the first agreement, the rent was only $950.00 a month. It’s gone up almost 100 percent in less than 15 years! No wonder the economy sucks!

I like my cave when I do not want to be disturbed. It is safe and cozy. Hope yours is too.
i understand in a different way how much you must enjoy your winter visits to your sister’s (i hope i have remembered correctly that it is you who often gets a winter break away to a desert sister). to have the double wammy of breath and mood is a very tough thing to live with. winter it is beautiful and yet imposes so many different restriction or limitations for different people. finally my winter migraines see to be diminishing. there were two winters that i had cluster migraines for one full month, no relief and sleeping made them worse. a peaking migraine every 20-60 minutes for one month. this year i am blessed… take good care nancy keep the computer busy.
I thought of you when I heard news of the weather in your neck of the woods for I know you hate winter. So keep looking on the “sunny side” and know spring will finally come!
Bonnie ( BLB ) is an expert and makes nice decor . The header is cute .
The backgound is made of tender hearts like stars in the sky ..
It ‘ s true as this time of the year all of of things seems congealed . However on the profil picture , we see you , Nancy in full speed on the snow !! We ask Spring .
You ask me if the flute is the same as the one I played in the far past . I kept this one until 2001 . On this year a chorist at church made it fall and there was a key or two broken . I have always this broken flute ( I am not sure it may me repaired ) . But in the urgence I bought an used flute and I play this last .
Love
Michel
I just read that it’s better to get out at this time of year because it lifts our spirits (more than we’re inclined to think it will). That said, I have to admit, I tend to prefer my cave this time of year, myself.
