MERRY CHRISTMAS
Ken and I want to wish you the blessings
that first Christmas brought
to us all.
May you all have a wonderful time
with family and/or friends.
And say a prayer for those who have lost loved ones this year.
————————
Since Ken’s birthday is next Tuesday, we will have our Christmas combined with Ken’s birthday on Sunday. Besides local kids, some of Ken’s family will be coming, too.
Today we are having more snow—on top of the blizzard yesterday—again!!
Our washer went out on Monday. At least it waited until my last load. Yesterday, Ken went out shopping for new washer and dryer. The dryer is as old as the washer—somewhere around 30 yrs. So decided to get both new. There was no way I was going out in a blizzard again—not after Sunday!!!!—–so he went himself. The ones he decided on at Lowes were not in stock, so we have to wait until Jan. 6, unless they come in earlier. He called me from the store, and I said that was OK—I had enough underwear to last until then! And, of course, he turned to the salesman and told him that!! lol The washer and dryer are our Christmas presents to each other. We don’t buy for each other anymore. We just usually get what we each need or want for ourselves as we go along. And, right now, we both need and want a washer and dryer!!!!!
Merry Christmas!

It must be the year of the appliance breakdown! What is with this? Betcha the set you are getting doesn’t last 20 years. They make them to break now. SIGH Ken must be the bestest shopper. I would never turn Wil loose to buy appliances!!! No telling what I’d end up with. Probably a string, clothes pins and a wash board!
Have a wonderful Christmas Day and weekend…..Happy Birthday, Ken!
Happy Birthday to Ken and have a wonderful Christmas! Enjoy your new washer and dryer!!
A new washer and drier is a wonderful gift to each other. no matter what time of year. Have a very merry Christmas.
Snow and more snow…a white Christmas this year…have a Merry one. Happy Birthday to Ken, too.
What romantics you both are! Enjoy your new appliances! Put a big bow on them when they arrive.
Merry Christmas to Santa and his wonderful wife!
Happy Christmas to you and Ken, have a great time.
I hope he bought a front loader! They are the best! I love mine! So much less water, detergent, & dryinig time. Happy Christmas to you too! I took a lovely walk in the snow with Brandy this morning! It was a perfect Christmas Eve snow. Of course I only need to drive to church which is only two blocks away so it was wonderful to look at.
@coolmom56 - No frontloader. Couldn’t justify the difference in price, especially since it is just the two of us. If I had a family and had to do a lot of laundry I would have wanted a frontloader, but not necessary for the two of us. Ken has been taking walks, too. I stick my nose out the door to grab the mail and that is all!
Thanks for the prayers . I think of my dear daughter in law , Marina .
However we have a family meal today .
Merry Christmas and happy to year to you both .
Love
Michel
