  • More prayers, please!

The small grandson of fellow Xangan, Gr8Grace,  needs your prayers.  A few days ago he climbed on a chair in the kitchen.  It started to tip, and he grabbed a pot of rice cooking on the stove.  The scalding water hit him and burned him badly.  Poor baby!!  He is now home from the hospital, but will take a long time healing.  Grace has pictures of him on her site.  Go visit, and give her words of encouragement.

    Edit:

See Grace’s comment below in the comments section.

  • Oh how sad for the family–things like that happen so quick.

I will go by and say hello

  • That is so sad for his family, I hope he heals well, Laura did a similar thing with a cup of tea but lucky she was left with no scars

  • Thank you so much for you encouragement. I am forwarding all comments to my daughter so she will be encouraged too. So far he is healing well, no sign of infection. Sleeping is still hard though.

  • I am sending prayers for the whole fmaily, and stopped by her site also.

  • I’ll get our Deaf church to pray for the little one!!  Raises hands in prayer!!  (Is there any other way to pray?—-(rhetorical question!!))

  • Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad someone besides me know how it hurts to get yelled at. Things have been better since I hired the neighbor to help–then I just call and go by once a day–maybe seeing me less helps her–LOL !-I was never my Mothers favorite child–and the favorite child doesnt have time to come–so Mom gets upset and has to take it out on someone-I’m it !!

Some of my “Kennys” got broken–one of the neighbor boys got drunk and stumbled over here one nite thinking he lived here–broke some of my gnomes–boy was I mad !! But the Kennys I have left are warm-up close to the house!

  • @Maggietx1 - Oh, I remember you talking about that drunken neighbor.  I don’t suppose you could get the parents to reimburse you for his breaking your Kennys—-I’m sure not!

My Kenny has to be outside for at least part of the day—no matter what the weather.  “Oh, look Mama, there are ten more leaves on the ground—-I better get out there and rake them up!” ”Uh-oh!  I see there is the remote possibility of snow 500 miles from here.  I better make sure the snowblower is working properly.  And I better also make sure the plow is hooked up to the truck—-this could be a big storm!”   NOT!!!   He is still an ole’ farm boy!!!!  Rather  be outside than inside.  I guess that because I was a sickly child I spent most of my time indoors—-and that is where I prefer to be, sitting in my recliner with my laptop on my lap!  lol

  • RYC:  My area of Arizona is El Mirage and Peoria.  My little extended family is there and we just do not get to spend enough time with them.  Just not enough of me to go around – wouldn’t knowit by my waistline .. LOL

  • I come from her site . This is frightening . Poor child and parents and grandparents .
However it seems the healing is on a good way but what sufferings for him . I hope he won’ t have sars .
    Love

    Michel

  • I went to Grace’s site because of your message.  Number One Son fell into a charcoal fire at the age of three.  He recovered much faster than the doctors expected.  My prayers are with the beautiful little guy; burns can be so horribly painful.
