Well, we went to the dermatologist today.
The new Dr. looks like he should still be in college! He looks more like a surfer—very short, blond-tipped messy hair. But with a British accent. Very nice, though. He took a biopsy from my forehead right by my hairline. That was the only thing he saw. No freezing of anything else, either. Pretty good for not having gone for about 12 yrs. They had to put a pressure bandage on it because of the blood thinner I take. Fortunately my bangs cover it
Now, Ken was another story. He was sprayed a lot, and had 8 biopsies taken from both arms and back.
We will get our results back in 10 days.
Yesterday, when we picked up our frozen food from our sister-in-law’s freezer, I must have picked up a crate of food wrong, because my back is a bit sore. Thank goodness I have nothing going on for the next couple days. I can baby myself a bit.
Started taking some of my summer clothes out of the closet yesterday and hauled them upstairs. That always depresses me. I wish I had another closet to keep off-season clothes in, rather than having to haul containers out of the attic to do the switch. Ken always complains about the mess on the spare beds and the 5 containers spread around upstairs while all of this is in progress. Because I don’t put everything away at once, stuff sits out for a while. Will keep one container separate, filled with the clothes I will take with me—–if we go somewhere this winter. Still no decisions on that though.
Boring blog. Nothing much going on!! Maybe will finally get the pictures up from Ken’s brother’s 70th party in the next couple days. The family that reads my blog will like to see them.
Another kaleidoscope—-ducks and koi.

I put my summer clothes in the loft too. I did that a few weeks ago, the weather here is colder than this time last year. This time last year I was flying over you when we were taking our trip to TX
I’m with you on the clothing dilemma…seems it takes me longer each year to do the switch! How did I ever get it done so quickly with a housefull of kids? Younger and moved faster!
I am blessed with a closet large enough to hold all my clothes so I don’t need to do the switch every year! I hope your and Ken’s biopsies come back negative! Take it easy!
I have that Stephen King book but couldn’t get into it but hubby liked it.
well, instead of hauling the clothes it would be better to put them where you can get to them easier. I try not to lift anything that would hurt my back-be careful.
yes, the cardiologist I went to once- I was tempted to ask him how the prom was? lol

Maybe it’s time to thin out the wardrobe?
I have to put things away and get things out too. Hope it goes easier this year since I put most in the large plastic tubs last year. Wil carries his shirts up stairs but mine go down in the closet and whatever the season come up…have two hanger racks in my half of the closet. Need to get things ready to go to MN and know we will need warmer things up that way probably. Will just dress in layers I think.
I have a big walk-in closet so I don’t have to do all that. I really liked the prom pictures from the last post!
When I moved in here in Aug. I just put the cooler weather things in the bedroom closet and the summer things in the spare bedroom closet….it helped lots.
Take care of your back. Otherwise I may have to come walk on it….and that could be awful.. Ha!
oh do I remember those trips to the skin doctor…Ed had so many, we lost count. oh yes, the changing of the clothes, the seasons change and the beat goes on…
Yes, we are having a ball, miss my family though, will make more trips to Vegas soon…I hope you and your hunk are well…
love you sweetie,
sage
I should really take Daughter up on her offer to let me use her closet, since she’s rarely here. It sure would save a million trips up and down the stairs. I haven’t begun to move my things, yet, though. They are saying we might have 70′s temps next week! But I am shivering in my capris and Tshirt today, even with a blanket. And I’m not turning the furnace on yet, either! Next month is my settle up month on the electric and I know it is going to go up…
We are all the same and tend to envade the bedrooms with clothes and other thing . Like you Janine has recently declutered for the works we made . The rooms are clearer now .
I hope the results of biopsies are good . It was kysts on the skin ?
Love
